As the second life insurance company of Nepal, National life and general insurance co.ltd. was established in 2044 B.S. This company incorporated in Insurance Board on 2042-2-19 and commenced insurance business from 2044-9-24. All over the country, it has four branches and four contact offices. All together with 120 staff, this company is providing different types of life and non life insurance facilities to customers today.Branch offices:- Birjunj, Biratnagar, Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj

Incorporated with insurance Board, Himalayan general Insurance Co.Ltd was formally established on 2050-4-6. Providing various types of non-life insurance perils to customers, it has expanded three branches in different geographical regions. it is well managed by 43 staffs under one umbrella.
6. United Insurance Co.Ltd.
After formal registration on 2050-7-6, United Insurance Company was established in Kathmandu. With head office situated in Kathmandu, it has all together four branch offices all over the country. Different types of non-life insurance perils are being provided by this company from 2050-8-16. It has altogether 45 personnels devoting in different insurance activities.

7. Premier Insurance Co.Ltd.
Premier Insurance Company was incorporated with Insurance Board on 2048-11-1 and registered as an insurance company of Nepal on 20511-1-8. Having altogether three branches, this company is providing various types of noon-insurance business from 2051-1-29. There are 47 administrative staffs of different levels in this insurance company.

8. Everest Insurance Co.ltd
Incorporated on 2048-8-18, the Everest Insurance Company was established on 2051-2-17 by local Nepali promoters with head office in Kathmandu, it has all together two branches and three contact offices within the country. There are total 71 administrative staffs providing various types on non-life insurance facilities.

As a joint stock company, Neco Insurance Company Ltd, was formally incorporated with Insurance Board on 20651-9-1. This company was formally registered on 2053-2-17 and commenced the insurance business form 2053-2-17. It is one of the leading companies among the new companies established in Nepal, with all together 42 staff, in this company, it is providing different types of non-life perils from head office in Kathmandu and other types of ono-life perils from head office in Kathmandu and other seven branch offices scattered in geographical regions.Branch Offices:- Hetauda, Birgunj, Biratnagar
